Fallout 4, Skyrim Special Edition Mod Support No Longer Coming To PlayStation 4

Earlier the release of Fallout 4 on PC and consoles, Bethesda confirmed that the panel versions of their popular role playing game would be getting mod support, which is a get-go for both PlayStation iv and Xbox One. The Xbox Ane version of Fallout iv did go modernistic back up a few months agone, but PlayStation four players are notwithstanding waiting for the feature to come to their version of the game. Sadly, it seems like it will no longer be happening.

With a new post on its official website, Bethesda confirmed that modernistic support for Fallout iv and the soon to be released The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition volition non be coming to PlayStation 4, due to Sony not approving user mods the way they should work.

After months of discussion with Sony, we regret to say that while nosotros take long been ready to offer mod support on PlayStation four, Sony has informed us they volition not approve user mods the way they should work: where users can do annihilation they want for either Fallout four or Skyrim Special Edition.

Like you, we are disappointed by Sony's decision given the considerable time and effort we have put into this projection, and the corporeality of time our fans have waited for mod back up to get in. We consider this an important initiative and we hope to observe other ways user mods can exist available for our PlayStation audience. Still, until Sony will allow us to offering proper mod back up for PS4, that content for Fallout 4 and Skyrim on PlayStation iv will not exist available.

Fallout 4 recently received its final DLC pack, called Nuka World. The pack includes plenty of additional content such a new area to explore and new features that enhance the experience considerably.

Fallout iv is now available in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox I.
